From September 25-27, the Frio Canyon will become an open-air gallery as TerraTx, the first art and mural festival of its kind in Uvalde County, brings together acclaimed artists, local storytellers, musicians, historians, naturalists, and the breathtaking landscapes that have inspired generations.

Saturday evening continues at The Springs in Leakey with a concert by the Braydon Foster Band and a fashion show by the internationally recognized mohair designer Dolores’ Unique Designs of Camp Wood, showcasing timeless craftsmanship inspired by the Texas Hill Country. On Sunday morning, the festival concludes with an uplifting gospel celebration led by Micah Edwards at the Concan Community Center before visitors embark on a self-guided mural tour, stopping at each completed masterpiece to capture a selfie and experience the stories behind every work of art before heading home.
